We're proud to present a gorgeous new edition of Paul Wegener's "Der Golem - How He Came Into The World", with a great new soundtrack by Doctor X.
Wegener filmed a version of "Der Golem" in 1913, set in modern times. He was unhappy with the results (as well as the lack of a decent budget),
so he made another "Golem" movie in 1920, funded by UFA Studios, and set in medieval times.
Rabbi Low, faced with a pogrom from the King that will drive the Jewish people from their enclave, creates a "Savior" from clay.
And, of course, the Rabbi must deal with the resulting chaos caused by the monster.
The film had a tremendous influence on James Whale's "Frankenstein" from 1931, and now you can experience it in all its glory.
The soundtrack, by Doctor X, features ambient / mideastern music, and is available in surround or stereo.
The downloadable version is in stereo and is the same quality as the trailer. It looks GREAT on a big screen TV.
Highly recommended!
