 It was a glorious day
It seemed the sun was finally here to stay
So I joined the crowd; we were far too loud
Souls crossed the line
They’d run for what had seemed a thousand miles
We all cheered them on, but now it’s gone

Euphoria, then pain
Sometimes I wonder if we’ll laugh again.
The sun, it feels just like rain, and I can’t explain.

Smoke filled the air;
broken people lying everywhere.
We all did our share; angels everywhere.

"Angels Everywhere" was written and recorded in reponse to the Boston Marathon bombings,
which occured in the neighborhood where I work. It's a beautiful place, and the shock of the day was hard to digest.
I wrote it very quickly, and the band got together at Second Story Studio and recorded it a week later. We hope it helps.
