Here's a picture of the model as it appears on the shelf in the Unofficial Lowbudget Monster Model Museum in 2006:

and here's the model as photographed in 2001:

"ABDUCTION 1919"
ARTOMIC CREATIONS
1/6 scale, resin

This is a model I'd been drooling over since I started modeling again a few years ago, and Artomic Creations (Thomas Kuntz) finally repopped it! It's great to see someone put this much effort into the classic German Silents. He also had the Golem model and a Nosferatu. There's also a second Cesare model (figure only), which I bought before this one became available again.

A great shot of the entire piece. This was a difficult model to put together due to the weight of Jane (no offense to Lil Dagover) who is supported almost entirely by Cesare's arm while resting a bit on his hip. You have to paint everything first, then hold Jane in place while gluing the arm on. Then you have to putty the arm and try to cover up the seam and paint it inconspicuously.

If you look closely, you can see a slightly darker outline of Cesare's arm on the wall. In spirit with the original film, Mr. Kuntz sculpted a slight indentation throughout the kit of the figure's shadows so you can paint them a bit darker. Of course, the real shadows in this picture are much more prominent.

A great bit of work on both the base and the stone marker. I'll be replacing these pics soon with some clearer ones so that you can see the chains on it. I also want to get some clearer shots of the figures' faces.
