1/35th scale, styrene
Sculpted by Ryu Ohyama / Produced by X-Plus

I had recently given up on styrene models, and then this came out. The guy in the cage made it a must-build model!

Grrrr! He's got his eye on you!

I thought that the texture on the legs was too soft as compared to the beast in the film,
so I dabbed some light modeling paste all over the legs with my fingertips.
The stuff would stick to my fingers each time I pulled away, which left little "hairs" rising from the legs.

I added a bit of lichen to the base to give it detail.

There's no back on the cage, which turns out to be a good idea. It makes the inside of the cage look clearer from the front.

This is a very tiny man (about two inches) painted with a very tiny brush.

A sharp looking nameplate, which was also easy to paint.

And for you 3D freaks, here's a great shot. The club comes right out of the picture!
